ASF Youth Basketball Program Expanding to Maryland

<p>Following the success of our Northern Virginia youth basketball program, ASF is expanding into Maryland with a new program serving the Bethesda and Silver Spring areas. The program targets youth aged 10 to 18 and will operate in partnership with local community centers.</p> <p>Omar Hakimi, ASF Director of Youth Programs, will oversee the new program. We have seen incredible demand from families in Maryland who want their children to play sports in a community that understands their culture and values, said Omar. This expansion is a natural next step for us.</p> <p>Registration opens for the Maryland program on March 1, 2026. Practices will be held on Saturdays. All participants will receive ASF jerseys and equipment at no cost thanks to our generous sponsors.</p>
