AAFC defeated Afgnooz four to zero to win ASF's Midnight Madness Indoor soccer 2016 Championship. It was a repeat of last year’s championship match, but AAFC finished the game in regulation to avoid last year’s PK drama. A total of seven teams participated in this year's tournament on Sunday, March 28th, 2016 at Dulles SportsPlex in Sterling, VA. Participating teams were all from Virginia, including Afghan American FC, Afghan Youth Green, Afghan United, Afgnooz, Afghan Youth Blue, Alstarz & Grow E Khakbaad. After a competitive and very close first round games, the top four teams advanced to the semi-finals. Afghanooz defeated Afghan Youth Blue in the 1st semifinal game and AAFC defeated Afghan United in the second semifinals to clinch a spot in the Championship match. The Afghan Sports Federation would like to extend special thanks to all teams, players, and manager for their participation in this year's indoor tournament and making it another successful community event.
