The 2011 event was hosted by NJ's Pamir soccer club in Teaneck with teams from Virginia, NY, NJ and Canada. This year Ariana of Virginia came on strong with a number of veteran players as well as new blood and took on Brishna with flair.
Most of the same teams will be participating in the Afghan Sports Federation's 14th annual sporting & cultural event "ASF's Afghan Cup 2011" to be held from June 30th till July 3rd of this year in the Washington area as in years past, and this year's competition will be even more interesting with the results in NJ.
